But is it “gourmet”?

Several years ago, a friend invited me and a few others to his home. He cooked a bunch of delicious food and had us taste it. “This,” he said, “is gourmet. And you won’t see gourmet like this unless you get it in some restaurant where you have to pay a lot of money.”
